For many, cooking is synonymous with Thanksgiving, but for others the hassle and extra effort that comes with it can be a lot to handle. Luckily, there are many restaurants in and around the Meadowlands region that will be serving food on Thanksgiving and offer catering for the holiday. Eddie V’s Prime Seafood
Eddie V’s Prime Seafood in Paramus, NJ will be offering a special thanksgiving menu in honor of the holiday. The menu will feature slow-roasted sliced turkey, French green beans, creamy mashed potatoes, roasted butternut squash, a bread basket and much more. For dessert, the restaurant will be serving a pumpkin pie tartlet with pecan ice cream. Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Jersey City, along with many of the restaurant’s other locations, including Paramus and Weehawken, will be offering a thanksgiving day special tomorrow for all guests. The dinner allows visitors their choice of starter, an entree of sliced oven-roasted turkey, their choice of side and pumpkin cheesecake and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The meal costs $48 for adults and $21 for children, with the special only being offered during Thanksgiving.
Morton’s the Steakhouse
Morton’s the Steakhouse in Hackensack, NJ at the Shops at Riverside will have a special thanksgiving menu, which is a four-course feast that costs $69 per person. For the first course, guests will have the option between butternut squash bisque and cinnamon crème fraîche, with the option to upgrade to lobster bisque. The second course features a fall harvest salad, with a variety of different toppings. The third course, which serves as the main meal, is a roasted turkey roulade with all the sides a person could ever need. The fourth and final course is a pumpkin spiced cheesecake, with the option to upgrade to a chocolate cake.
The steakhouse will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the holidays, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy this feast. Located in the Shops at Riverside, additional entertainment options are available following the meal, with many stores in the surrounding area.
Starbucks
If you want to get a more relaxed treat for Thanksgiving, the Starbucks located in Secaucus will be open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Starbucks’ thanksgiving blend offers all the tastes of the holiday in one drink. The coffee joint will have sweet treats and beverages to wake you up in preparation for the feast that awaits.
