On Oct. 19, Marcus Live! Bar and Grille will be hosting a two-hour breakfast buffet in the morning, with a special appearance from a New York Jets icon. Former wide receiver Wayne Chrebet will be at the restaurant from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Those in attendance will get the opportunity to take pictures and get memorabilia signed, while enjoying a delicious spread of foods.
Wayne Chrebet was born and raised in Garfield, New Jersey, where he developed his football career. Undrafted out of Hofstra University, he turned into one of the Jets’ most iconic receivers. Chrebet finished his career with over 7,300 receiving yards and 41 touchdowns, all with the Jets. His impressive performance with the team led him to secure a spot in the Jets Ring of Honor.
American Dream will be hosting the Jets star in under two weeks, where fans can meet him and enjoy brunch on Sunday before a long day of football. A few hours later, at 1 p.m., less than a mile away, the Jets will be taking on the Carolina Panthers at MetLife Stadium.
