Family Promise of Bergen County launches Super 50/50 Raffle to benefit support services for homeless working families

Family Promise of Bergen County is excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for its annual Super 50/50 Raffle, which will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Edgewood Country Club in River Vale. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Ridgewood-based non-profit’s essential support programs and workshops.

Family Promise provides temporary shelter and personalized support to working families who are homeless or those at-risk of becoming homeless in Bergen County. A key element of the organization’s model is their wrap-around support services, which gives families the tools they need to become self-sufficient and permanently break the cycle of homelessness for themselves and future generations. These services include financial education programming, empowerment and resiliency workshops, job training, educational advancement, transportation, childcare, and more.

The grand prize winner of the Super 50/50 Raffle will receive 25% of proceeds up to $25,000. There are 16 additional chances to win, including a second place prize of 10% of proceeds up to $10,000 and 15 third place winners receiving 1% of up to $1,000 each. Ticket holders do not need to be present at the drawing to win.

Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased by mail or with a credit card by calling the Family Promise office at 201-833-8009 (New Jersey state law prohibits non-profits to sell raffle tickets online). Ticket requests must be received no later than Tuesday, March 16.
