The Meadowlands Racetrack will be hosting the Meadowlands Pace on Saturday, July 12. The event, which is known as ‘The Biggest Party in Harness Racing’, will feature not just races but many other fun activities. The first race is set to kick off at 6:20 p.m.
The festivities for the event guarantee a great time for guests of all ages. Starting at 5 p.m., before the races even start, there will be a T-shirt giveaway for the first 5,000 fans. There will also be a mechanical shark, 3-in-1 sports games and carnival games to keep guests entertained.
Throughout the event there will be live music provided by DJ Alx. For some more fun, there will be face painters, glitter tattoos and balloon animals for the younger audience members. The event provides a great time for all guests, no matter how old.
For five lucky fans in attendance, they will have the opportunity to put $500 on the race of their choice. There will be a giveaway, in which five people will be given a $500 win wager to place on the race of their choice.
If there wasn’t enough entertainment as it is, the event will be hosting the Jimmy Hoffa Cornhole Classic. The Garden State Cornhole Alliance will be hosting a large event, capped at 128 teams. With much buzz around it, $5,000 has been added to the payouts.
While watching the races, any hunger can be filled through the variety of food trucks that will be offered. From BBQ to lobster to Italian ice, there will be all one’s tastebuds could ask for and more.
