With Thanksgiving just a month away, many are already starting to get into the spirit of giving and there’s no better way to do that than by participating in the Meadowlands Basket Brigade. The event, which runs from Sep. 10 to Nov. 17, was created with the goal of giving back to those in need in the Meadowlands.
One small donation can make a world’s difference to families across the region, which is why it is encouraged to donate. You can mail your checks to Meadowlands Chamber 1099 Wall Street W., Suite 100 Lyndhurst, NJ 07071. Donations will be accepted until Nov. 13, 2024.
The Meadowlands Basket Brigade has been running for over a decade, helping support those in need in and around the greater Meadowlands area. The event has helped to raise tens of thousands of dollars for those in need, while helping countless families in the process.
The donations made in the event can vary from donating your time to volunteer. There are multiple options for roles that volunteers can take on including basket builders and delivery drivers. In addition, you can contribute to the donation of baskets, with basket prices ranging from $5 to $500.
The Meadowlands Basket Brigade has long been a staple in the community, helping give back to those in need. This year, it is no different, as the event still works to provide aid to those who need it most in the Meadowlands.
