A 100-unit mixed-use development will be moving forward in Hackensack on Main Street. The seven-story building will feature 28 studios, 64 one-bedrooms and eight two-bedroom units.
The building will feature more than just housing, owning roughly 5,600 square feet of retail space, 4,200 square feet for restaurants and 7,800 square feet of office space. The project was scaled back from a plan that initially called for a 17-story building.
The development, called the Sapphire, shares the same ownership as the Brick, a high-rise building located right next to it. The property currently holds around 36,500-square-feet of vacant land. The development will feature a rooftop restaurant that overlooks the Manhattan skyline, offering an amazing view for guests and the building’s tenants. The building will also sit across the street from the Hackensack Bus Terminal, which is expected to undergo renovations.
The building’s features help to provide tenants with the best possible living experience, with everything they could possibly need within a short walk. Its convenient location to the bus terminal makes morning commutes easier for those in the building.
Updates on the building will be made as there is more progress towards the development.
