Kearny Bank expands Business Relationship team with pair of VP appointments

Further enhancing the capabilities of its business relationship team, Kearny Bank has appointed a pair of new Vice Presidents / Business Relationship Officers. These are Haskell resident Richard Biggs III and Oakland’s Michael Gambatese. Covering specific geographic areas, each will focus on addressing the needs of established and new business clients.

Biggs’ focus is on northern Bergen County. He joins Kearny Bank after spending five years with Blue Foundry Bank, where he was most recently an Assistant Vice President / Business Development Officer. Biggs currently is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Rider University. A member both of the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park and the Lyndhurst-based Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce, he also is treasurer for Masonic Lodge Livingston #11.

Gambatese – who earned a bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University – is focused both on Essex County and Passaic County. Immediately prior to joining Kearny Bank, he held a management-level position with Investors Bank. Before that, he was a vice president / senior relationship manager with the Bank of New Jersey. Gambatese chairs Oakland’s Website and Social Media Committee, is commissioner of Oakland’s Communications Commission, and is a current applicant for North Jersey Chamber of Commerce membership.

“There’s no doubt that our business clients are absolutely essential to our company,” says Jack Anastasi, Kearny Bank’s Senior Vice President / Government Banking and Small Business Leader. “By adding Michael and Richard to our business relationship team, we’ve enhanced our ability to address client needs, while further deepening our pool of professional expertise.”
