Get the Holiday Experience at American Dream
Consisting of over 300 places to shop and dine, the American Dream Mall provides the perfect location to get gifts for those of all ages, with the stores offering a variety of products. While shopping, you can immerse yourself into the holiday spirit by taking pictures with Santa in Holiday Dreamland and taking in the wonderful scenery of Winter Wonder in The Garden.
On Dec. 22, characters from Nickelodeon Universe, DreamWorks Water Park and more will be seen at American Dream, participating in the mall’s holiday parade. The parade offers families visiting the mall with the perfect time to spend their holiday season, seeing all the characters live and in-person.
On the same day, New York basketball stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Nyara Sabally will be visiting the mall as part of the mall’s Holiday Hoops event. The event consists of a 3-hour basketball skills session and is open to all children aged 8-14. Sabally will be visiting from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., while Towns will be taking the court from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Enjoy Holiday Lights at Essex County Turtle Back Zoo
For the holiday season, you can talk a way through the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo to see all of the festive lights that are hung up around the entire area, consisting of designs that include over 50 winter and animal characters.
The lights will be up and public for visitors to view until the end of December, with Dec. 24 and 25 being the only days that the zoo’s lights will be closed. The lights are free to view, though if you are feeling in the giving spirit, the zoo would greatly appreciate donations from all that choose to come.
Go Shopping and Take Pictures with Santa This Holiday at Garden State Plaza
Garden State Plaza, located in Paramus, New Jersey, will be offering pictures with Santa for this holiday season up until Dec. 24. The mall will also have complimentary gift-wrapping services that will go up to the same date for any shoppers that may need help with their presents.
