On Saturday, Oct. 17, the Meadowlands Environment Center in Lyndhurst, New Jersey will be hosting its Autumn Art Series, which allows guests to celebrate the season while unleashing their creativity. The event is open for both children and adults, though it will be taking place at separate times. Guests can experiment with charcoal drawings to transfer their vision onto the paper.
The children’s drawing session is for those from ages 6-12 and will last from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The cost of admission is $20 per child. Children can experiment with charcoal and other tools to create frightening creatures as Halloween approaches.
For the adults and teens session, it is scheduled to last from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The cost of admission is $30 per person. Guests will be using an array of charcoal to bring the fall landscape to life on paper.
The Meadowlands Environment Center offers new art programs each month and this month looks at October’s defining features. Space for the event is limited but guests can register online to secure a ticket.
