Meadowlands Live Racing Canceled, Track Remains Open for Simulcasting & Sports Betting

Due to the impending winter storm, the Meadowlands Racetrack has canceled live racing for tonight, Feb. 8. The track remains open for simulcasting and sports betting at the FanDuel Sportsbook as does Winners Bayonne.

“Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel live racing for tonight,” said Jason Settlemoir, COO and GM of the Meadowlands Racetrack. We don’t want to put the horsemen and horses in jeopardy while traveling during the storm.”

Tonight’s qualifiers are also canceled.

With simulcasting and sports wagering remaining open, bettors can get in all their big game wagers today.

Tomorrow, February 9th the track opens at 8am for sports betting. Limited seating remains for the Big Game Watch Party with Marc Malusis and Bart Scott. Ticket includes an all-you-can-eat buffet, soft drinks, Q&A with Scott, and giveaways. Get your tickets at PlayMeadowlands.com.
