Beginning on Saturday, Nov. 29, the Meadowlands Racetrack will be holding its annual Toys for Tots Collection Drive. Anyone is welcome to donate new, unwrapped toys from Nov. 29 to Dec. 12, which will go to the children that need them the most.
On Friday, Dec. 12, former New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa will be hosting the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Annual Holiday Toy Drive Reception. Enunwa will meet with guests that bring new and unwrapped toys. U.S. Marines Toys for Tots and Enunwa will be personally delivering all the toys that were collected to children at SBH Health System in Bronx, New York on Dec. 16 at noon.
Enunwa hosted the toy collection drive for the first time in 2018, marking his yearly commitment to spreading joy through the Meadowlands. Enunwa played for the Jets for five seasons, with his last being in 2019, though he continues to uphold this tradition every year during the holidays.
With the holiday season in full swing, the toy drive is the perfect opportunity for guests to help give back to the community. Each toy that is donated will find a new home with a child that is in need, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of the holidays.
