With just under half of the month of March behind us, the Meadowlands Racetrack still has plenty of events on their calendar to keep those in the region entertained. Between St. Patrick’s Day and March Madness, one of the most exciting months in sports, there is much fun to be had.
On Friday, Mar. 14 and Saturday, Mar. 15, Meadowlands Racing will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day-themed buffet, which consists of carved brined corned beef brisket, honey whiskey roasted salmon and chocolate irish cake among many other foods synonymous with the holiday. The buffet will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and cost $49.95 per person.
The St. Patrick’s Day festivities continue on Saturday, as two Irish greats make an appearance at the Meadowlands Racetrack. Former NY Jets QB Ray Lucas and boxing great Gerry Cooney will be hosting a meet and greet at the Meadowlands Racetrack from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Next week, beginning on Mar. 20 and running to the end of the tournament, Meadowlands Racing will allow guests to reserve seats in the lounge to watch all of the action. March Madness is one of the biggest sporting events of the year, filled with magical cinderella runs, intense games and nail-biting finishes. The seating offered allows guests to experience the best possible experience.
The FanDuel Sportsbook at the Meadowlands Racetrack allows guests to get even more involved in the games by placing wagers on teams of their choosing. The tournament runs throughout the entirety of the remainder of March, giving fans the most time possible to enjoy the fun.
