On Friday, Nov. 28, the day after Thanksgiving, Peter Grandich will be hosting his annual “Turkey Trot” harness race, with an appearance from a special guest. New York Giants great linebacker Jessie Armstead will be having a meet and greet at the event.
The meet and greet will be taking place in the Clubhouse Lobby from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Grandich and Armstead will be presenting a trophy to the winning connections of the Turkey Trot race after the autograph signing.
Armstead played 11 seasons in the NFL, nine of which were spent with the New York Giants. He has three All-Pro and five Pro Bowl selections to his name, all of which came with the Giants, cementing his legacy in the Meadowlands. In 2010, Armstead was inducted into the New York Giants Ring of Honor. The crowning jewel, however, in his tenure with the Giants, was becoming a Super Bowl XLII champion.
