NAI James E. Hanson, the largest independent commercial real estate firm based in New Jersey, helped negotiate the lease of a clothing accessories company in Ramsey and the sale of a medical office suite in Hackensack.
The lease of the 24,550 square-foot industrial building at 91 Grant S. in Ramsey was handled by NAI James E. Hanson’s Andrew Somple, SIOR, and Jessica Curry. They both represented the new tenant, Marcus Adler, in the transaction with the landlord, RW Ramsey Realty Corporation.
Located off Route 17 North, the building features 3,230 square feet of office space, two 8’x10’ tailgates, and one 10’x10’ drive-in. It’s easily accessible to Interstates 202 and 287 as well as the New York Thruway, and has a newly-repaved parking lot with 43 spaces.
Marcus Adler is a third-generation family-owned business that specializes in clothing accessories including gloves, hats, scarves and much more. The company wanted to relocate their business from New York City to ease the transition from utilizing a third-party logistics operator to handling distribution and fulfillment internally.
“This relocation is part of a growing trend we’ve seen of businesses moving from New York to New Jersey,” said Somple. “91 Grant Street’s easy access to many of the region’s major roadways made it a terrific fit for Marcus Adler as they set out to redefine their logistics operations. We’re happy to have helped a family business secure the space they need to begin the next chapter of their journey and we wish them continued success.”
Negotiating the sale of the 1,000-square-foot Hackensack medical office suite, NAI James E. Hanson’s Team Lizzack-Horning, composed of Darren Lizzack, MSRE, and Randy Horning, MSRE, represented both the buyer, Michael Lazovik, and the seller, Nancy Foster.
Located at 211 Essex St., office suite is situated in a 40,000-square-foot office building located within walking distance of Hackensack University Medical Center. With quick access to Hackensack’s wide healthcare network, it is a perfect spot for physicians and healthcare providers.
Recognized as one of the premier medical office leasing teams across northern New Jersey, Team Lizzack-Horning was selected as the exclusive brokerage team for the property and sold the 1,000-square-foot office suite within 30 days of bringing it to market. The new owner will utilize their new space to open a podiatry office.
“Hackensack’s reputation as a healthcare hub has consistently attracted medical providers to the area,” said Lizzack. “Today’s patients prioritize easy access and proximity to complementary healthcare services making it vital for providers to find locations that can fill these needs. 211 Essex Street’s well-maintained interior combined with its location within Hackensack makes it a terrific fit for a variety of providers in need of a convenient location to open up their practice.”
