Jersey Sports Group Signed Shuler Earlier This Year

It was a dream come true for Notre Dame sophomore safety Adon Shuler, who walked off the field at MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands on Saturday (Oct. 26) with an impressive homecoming game before family and friends and a 51-14 win over the Navy Midshipmen.

It was also a crowning moment for Eddie Nicastro, Founder and CEO of Jersey Sports Group. The firm signed Shuler in May, and he is its biggest college athlete client. Shuler’s had a great season, but nothing tops playing in your hometown region on the same turf where the Giants and the Jets play.

“…it’s really a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to play at MetLife,” Adon told the South Bend Tribune.

The Irish dominated the Midshipmen from the start, with Notre Dame scoring the first touchdown and Shuler recovering a Navy fumble that set up a second TD. With 5:44 left in the first quarter, Notre Dame had a 14-0 lead.

“Adon is a remarkable talent who comes from a great family. We aligned with him early on brand building and making an impact off the field in the community.” Nicastro said.

Adon Shuler’s Football Story

Shuler was an All-American player for the Irvington High School Blue Knights, helping the team earn its first state championship in the program’s history. The 6-foot, 200-pound safety was also the first in the high school’s history to graduate a year early and enroll in college.

He committed to the Fighting Irish in August 2021 and signed with the team in December 2022. After graduating in 2023, he headed to South Bend, Indiana, to turn the page on a new football chapter in his life.

“We’re incredibly proud to represent Adon as he advances in his athletic journey and builds his legacy both on and off the field,” said Nicastro. “This partnership holds special meaning for us, as it’s an opportunity to champion a top local talent from the start of his career. Adon’s return to the Meadowlands this weekend highlights the strength and depth of elite sports talent right here in New Jersey.”

Earlier this summer, Shuler collaborated with JD Sports to help launch their newest location in Newark, bringing fresh energy to the city and connecting with fans. Additionally, Shuler recently teamed up with 500 Level to launch his exclusive player merchandise collection, offering fans a unique way to support and connect with him through custom apparel.

Shuler, Jersey Sports Group Partnership

As part of his ongoing commitment to the community, Shuler and Jersey Sports Group are planning an Adon Shuler Football Camp next summer, which will be supported by key partners. This camp aims to provide local youth with the opportunity to learn directly from Shuler and other talented coaches, further cementing his role as a positive influence in the region.

Reflecting on his partnership with JSG, Shuler shared, “It means a lot to partner with Jersey Sports Group, especially being able to represent where I’m from. I’m excited to give back to the community that’s always supported me and to inspire the next generation of athletes. The chance to work with JSG off the field and plan my first football camp is a dream come true.”

Adon Shuler’s journey has been a testament to hard work and perseverance. Shuler has remained connected to his roots, from being an All-American at Irvington High School to playing under the bright lights of college football with the Fighting Irish. His partnership with Jersey Sports Group aims to build on his growing brand, using the platform to inspire young athletes in the area and giving back to the communities that shaped him.

The Irish have a bye next week before hosting Florida State Nov. 9, and a home game versus Virginia. Notre Dame returns to the tri-state area to take on Army at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 23.
