This holiday season, NJ Transit is making sure to keep those travelling happy, with a variety of great deals and discounts set to be put in place over the coming weeks. The popular “Bring a Friend” and “City Pass” promotions will be returning this year, much to the delight of passengers. In addition, NJ Transit will be offering its family Supersaver throughout the entire month, which allows up to two children aged 11 and younger to travel for free with a fare-paying adult.
NJ Transit’s unique ‘Buy One, Gift One!’ program allows passengers to take a friend along with them for a limited number of rides. By entering the promo code that they are given, passengers can get the deal for four one-way train rides, with all of them needing to be used on the same day.
Passengers can also earn up to a 40% discount when buying tickets to Philadelphia and Atlantic City through its mobile app during the holiday season. Similar to the previous promotion, the code works for 4 one-way tickets, which must all be used on the same day.
NJ Transit’s Family SuperSaver makes it more cost-effective for children to travel with their guardians, offering kids 11 and younger free rides with a fare-paying adult. The deal will be running from now until Monday, Jan. 6, providing easier travel for families across the Garden State.
