NJ Transit Offers Rail Service for Upcoming Soccer Games & Concerts at MetLife Stadium

Over the next few weeks, MetLife Stadium will be welcoming hundreds of thousands of fans, hosting a variety of major events, including matches for the CONMEBOL Copa América soccer tournament and Luke Combs’ upcoming tour. To make it easier for NJ citizens to get to the stadium, NJ Transit will be making travel more convenient for them.

NJ Transit will operate its BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line service between Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium. The rail schedules will be posted when the events are closer. The rail service will be offered on the following days for their respective events.

June 25: CONMEBOL Copa América – Chile vs. Argentina

June 27: CONMEBOL Copa América – Uruguay vs. Bolivia

July 9: CONMEBOL Copa América – Semifinal

July 19, 20: Luke Combs Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour

Customers who are traveling with NJ Transit trains should purchase their round-trip ticket from their originating station to Meadowlands Station to avoid any delays when boarding. 

For transportation options to MetLife Stadium, customers will have to look towards Secaucus Junction. The start time for the rail shuttles varies depending on the scheduled start time for the event. For timetables for all upcoming events at MetLife Stadium and NJ Transit’s options for them, visit njtransit.com/meadowlands.

Similarly to the transportation to the stadium, leaving the stadium will also go from Meadowlands Station to Secaucus Junction. Customers are strongly urged to plan ahead and thoroughly check rail schedules for service from Secaucus to Penn Station New York and Hoboken Terminal.
