Manufacturing Counts, a partnership between NJBIA and the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) to promote awareness of New Jersey manufacturing, has launched a competition to find the best products made in the state.
Any product made in the Garden State may be nominated for the “Makers Madness – The Coolest Thing Made in New Jersey” contest, with the winner receiving an award and coverage about the company and product in upcoming issues of New Jersey Business Magazine and Manufacturing Matters Magazine.
“We’re extremely prideful of the many manufacturers in New Jersey who create products that benefit our way of life in many ways here and all around the world,” said NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka.
“Our Makers Madness contest will bring more well-deserved attention to these companies, their creations and New Jersey as a manufacturing state. We can’t wait to see all the nominations and we are thrilled to partner with NJMEP on this mission!”
“The Makers Madness initiative is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the incredible innovation and craftsmanship found within New Jersey’s manufacturing sector,” said NJMEP CEO Peter Connolly.
“Through this competition, we shine a spotlight on the products that not only define the ingenuity of our state but also reinforce why New Jersey is a leader in manufacturing. NJMEP is proud to collaborate with NJBIA on this exciting effort, celebrating the makers who drive our economy forward and inspire the next generation of manufacturers.”
