After nearly two years of construction, Reloaderz NJ indoor firing range has opened at 1813 Route 23 in Wayne. A ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by the Mayor of Wayne was held in January for the new 14,000 sq. ft. facility, which caters to experienced marksman, novices and curious first-timers. The range is the first woman-owned and managed indoor range operating in New Jersey.
With firearm ownership at an all-time high locally and nationally, Reloaderz NJ’s focus is to provide a next-generation, non-intimidating facility for responsible firearm owners.
“Education, training and practice are all required elements of safe, responsible firearm ownership,” notes Cheryl Nylen, President and CEO of Reloaderz NJ. “Like any skill, firearm safety needs to be practiced on a regular basis. If a shooting range is intimidating or not readily accessible, people are much less likely to receive the follow-up firearm training and practice they need to be safe.”

The facility includes a 15 lane, 25-yard climate-controlled indoor secured range area that is designed to exceed all EPA, OSHA, NIOSH, NRA and NSSF guidelines. Beyond safety, Reloaderz NJ is designed to be both fun and challenging. The range employs the latest technology in the marketplace today including wireless advanced AWD PRO™ targeting system from Action Target™, where guests may choose from 27 different training scenarios.
Technology is employed everywhere, from security to video retail displays—even an IPad-driven sign-in system designed to minimize wait times. Considerable attention has also been given to creating an upscale environment, including a large lounge area with overstuffed couches and chairs, TVs and free WIFI. There is also a merchandise space and areas where clients can purchase or rent firearms, accessories and ammunition as well as targets and range gear. The company also offers “Reloaderz University”, featuring safety and training skills taught by qualified professionals in the facility’s classroom center.
