SCORE Has Free Webinar to Help Women Entrepreneurs

An online roundtable celebrating women entrepreneurs is set for Tuesday, June 11 from 12-1:30 p.m. The free webinar features insights from women small business owners about their successful entrepreneurship journey.

SCORE Certified Mentor and entrepreneur Kristin Sharpe will moderate the panel and will be joined by Charlene Brown, Meisha Rice, LaTonia Rich and Sandra Vazquez. 

Discussion topics include:

  • How they launched and grew their small businesses. 
  • Challenges experienced and how they overcame them
  • Advice for other current and prospective entrepreneurs

Author, activist, business powerhouse, and philanthropist Edie Fraser will deliver the keynote. Fraser is Chair of Women Business Collaborative, a nonprofit created to accelerate equal position, pay, and power for all businesswomen.

Her latest book, “Women Mean Business,” will be given to 32 participants. Recipients will be selected from a random drawing of webinar attendees who remain through the webinar close and will be notified by email following the webinar. Books will be mailed to the address entered on the event registration form.
