This Father’s Day Weekend, you can spend quality time with your family at the Meadowlands Racetrack BBQ Extravaganza. The event will be filled with delicious food, live racing and provides an all-around fun time for guests. The BBQ Extravaganza will take place on June 15 at Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment, from 5-11 pm.
Admission to the event is free, allowing everyone the opportunity to indulge in the amazing food that will be on display on Saturday. In addition to the food, there will also be live racing at the Meadowlands Racetrack, which will begin at 6:20 pm.
Vendors that believe that they offer the best BBQ in the region can register to compete for $2,500 in prize money. The BBQ Extravaganza has 4 different categories for its competition; chicken, pulled pork, brisket and ribs with an additional one called people’s choice. Each category offers a $500 prize to the winner. A $100 fee before June 15 must be paid by participating vendors before June 15. To register for the competition, email Raryan@meadowlands.com.
