Sunday racing has returned to the Meadowlands Racetrack for 2026, with its next occurrence happening on Sunday, Jan. 18. The first race took place last week, on Jan. 11, with dates scheduled for every Sunday this month.
The scheduled post time for all races is 12:30 p.m. and the dates can be found listed below.

The afternoon racing will be paired with a brunch buffet to satisfy fans’ hunger as they await the races. The buffet menu from last week’s races featured a variety of foods, including lighter offerings, which featured oatmeal, a morning fruit medley, mini Danish delights, mini bagels with cream cheese and an omelette station. These options were available starting at 11:30 a.m.
For the ‘Brunch Bests’, which offer more filling meals, there were buttermilk waffles with bourbon maple syrup and cinnamon butter, sliced turkey, country biscuits and gravy, crispy bacon and pork sausage, hash browns and cheesy grits. These items became available at 12 p.m.
In addition to the food, there were also $15 cocktails, which included a bloody mary and mimosa.
