The Weeknd Adds Two Shows to MetLife Stop Following High Demand

What was initially supposed to be a one night show in East Rutherford for global music sensation, The Weeknd, has turned into a three-day performance from Jun. 5-7. When The Weeknd announced his After Hours Til Dawn tour with Playboi Carti and Mike Dean, he was scheduled to play MetLife Stadium on Thursday, Jun. 5.

Unsurprisingly, the concert was in very high demand, as The Weeknd is one of the world’s biggest music artists, with over 120 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Noticing how popular these tickets were, the artist and the venue decided to add an extra date to the tour on Jun. 6.

Even that extra show still wasn’t enough to accommodate for everyone trying to get tickets in the Meadowlands, so a third show was added to the tour on Jun. 7. The Weeknd, joined by Playboi Carti and Mike Dean, will now be making his way to MetLife Stadium for three days from Jun. 5-7 for one of the region’s most anticipated concerts of the year so far.
