What is your plan?

Without a plan for what they want to be, people forfeit their destiny. Their life becomes a routine mundane existence working on somebody else’s plan.

Everyone wants to have a better life in one way or another – an emotional destination to strive for. Since life is about money and most people are worried about money, especially today – why don’t they do something about it? They watch others make money on TV while they are not making any money while watching them.

Many do not have a plan for their finances either and waste much of their scarce earnings. They also waste a lot of their precious time. Days are expensive. When you spend a day, you have one less day to spend, so spend each day and each dollar wisely!

Everybody says that they want to be successful, but what success is to them is elusive because they don’t have a plan or in many cases even a clear definition of what success means to them. Success is a function of applying a discipline to achieving the goals in a well-defined plan for doing what you do best and enjoy the most. It is more a function of the consistent application of common sense than of anything else.

Instead of complaining about your situation and creating excuses for why you are not successful, you should shift that wasted energy into positive action to improve your earnings, state of mind and standard of living.

Success is neither magical nor mysterious. It is the result of consistently applying common sense fundamentals. The most critical ingredient for success is discipline – doing what you should do, when you should do it, whether you like it or not.

If you don’t design your own life plan, you’ll become part of someone else’s plan.
