The Long-Term Care (LTC) Division at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center was recognized for the fourth time on Newsweek’s Best Nursing Homes.
Bergen New Bridge Medical is the largest licensed nursing home in New Jersey and one of only 6% to receive Joint Commission accreditation.

The Best Nursing Homes 2026 ranking identifies the nation’s top 1,200 facilities. Facilities were evaluated on four pillars: performance data, peer recommendations, accreditations, and resident satisfaction, with performance data given increased weight in 2026 to reflect the growing emphasis on clinical quality metrics.
Other updates this year include the addition of vaccination rates as new quality measures, the expansion of the ranking to cover 33 states across three size categories and an increase in the total number of facilities recognized.
“This recognition is a reflection of the exceptional, compassionate, high-quality care our team provides to our residents and their loved ones,” said Deborah Visconi, President and CEO of Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. “Our LTC Division is committed to uplifting the quality of life for our residents and I am incredibly proud of the work they do here every day.”
Bergen New Bridge Medical Center has been providing comprehensive, high-quality long-term care services for more than 75 years.
