On Saturday, Oct. 25, the Meadowlands Racetrack will be hosting its monthly harness handicapping contest. Players that are interested must register and check in at the Clubhouse lobby by 6:20 p.m. There is no entry fee, though a $100 live money bankroll is required.
The prize pool for the event, which is funded by the Meadowlands Racetrack, is guaranteed at $1000. The cash prize will be paid out to the contest’s top four finishers. The top two finishers will advance to the $10,000 tournament, taking place on Dec. 13. The tournament will feature a total of 20 players, the top two finishers from each monthly contest that has been held.
In order to qualify, contestants must bet on a minimum of five Meadowlands races, though there are no minimums or maximums. The contest is open to any wager on the Meadowlands live wagering menu. The contestants that find the most success in betting on the races will top the leaderboards.
The final contest before the $10,000 tournament will be held on Nov. 21. This week’s contest is one of the last chances for contestants to try and punch their ticket to the final tournament, where even more money is on the table.
